VegaShare is designed with privacy at its core. We do not require user registration, real names, email addresses, or phone numbers to upload or download content.

• Temporary Payload: Your uploaded files or text notes are stored on our encrypted server storage temporarily.
• Metadata: Expiry timestamps and download counter limits required to facilitate automated file deletion.
• Security Logs: Standard web server connection logs (IP addresses) retained briefly for rate limiting, abuse prevention, and legal compliance.

3. Automated Content Purging

We implement hard deletion policies. Once a shared item reaches its designated timer expiry (15m to 24h) or maximum download limit, it is permanently wiped from our server disks.

4. Encryption in Transit & Rest

All data exchanged with VegaShare is encrypted using Industry-Standard Transport Layer Security (TLS/HTTPS). Additionally, optional password protection ensures payloads remain inaccessible without the correct passphrase.

5. Cookies, Advertising & Google AdSense Compliance

We store your UI theme preference locally in your browser (localStorage). To keep VegaShare free, we partner with third-party ad networks, including Google AdSense.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and web beacons to serve ads based on your prior visits to our website or other websites across the internet.

6. Acceptable Use Policy & Violation Enforcement

VegaShare strictly adheres to international web standards and Google Publisher Policies. Users are strictly prohibited from utilizing our service to host, transmit, or share:

• Illegal & Harmful Content: Any materials that promote illegal acts, human trafficking, terrorism, or extortion.
• Child Sexual Abuse & Exploitation (CSAE): Zero-tolerance policy. Any detected CSAE material will be immediately purged, and relevant technical data will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and appropriate law enforcement agencies.
• Intellectual Property & Copyright Infringement: Content that violates copyright, trademark, or DMCA guidelines, including unauthorized distribution of proprietary software or media.
• Malware & Cyber Threats: Files containing viruses, trojans, ransomware, spyware, keyloggers, or tools designed for unauthorized network intrusion or phishing.
• Dangerous, Derogatory, or Sexually Explicit Material: Gratuitous violence, hate speech, harassment, non-consensual sexual content, or sexually explicit material.

Enforcement Actions: Failure to comply with these rules will result in immediate content removal, IP-address blacklisting, rate-limit bans, and, where legally required, reporting to law enforcement authorities.

7. Disclaimer of Content & Limitation of Liability

VegaShare acts as a passive, temporary conduit for user-generated content. We do not monitor or endorse user uploads prior to transmission. Users retain full legal liability for any content they upload or retrieve through the platform. VegaShare disclaims all liability for unauthorized, harmful, or unlawful material uploaded by third parties.
